Quality & certifications

Quality at RFSS is a documented system, not a claim. Every stage is executed against client-approved quality plans and witnessed where the project requires it.

Quality philosophy

From incoming material inspection through in-process control, non-destructive testing and final acceptance.

Each spool, bend and support is delivered with documentation, in multiple languages where the project needs it, aligned to the client's project specification. Compliance is built into each stage of execution rather than checked at the end.

  • Inspection. Incoming material, in-process and final inspection against the approved quality plan.
  • Welding quality. Qualified procedures, qualified welders, and every weld recorded.
  • Dimensional inspection. Spools and bends verified against drawing and code.
  • Material control. Material heat numbers carried through every operation.
  • Testing and NDT. Radiography, ultrasonic and hydro testing, plus mechanical and chemical testing.
  • Documentation. A complete record package that ships with the product.

Approvals & Certification

  1. 1

    Material heat number

Each spool is tied to the heat numbers of its material.

  2. 2

    WPS / PQR

The qualified procedure used for each joint is on record.

  3. 3

    Welder identification

Each weld records who made it.

  4. 4

    NDT report

Examination results link back to the joint.

  5. 5

    Dispatch record

The file closes with the dispatch documents.

The traceability thread

One record, raw material to dispatch.

The thread is what lets a client or inspector start from a dispatched spool and follow it back to the heat, procedure, welder and test result behind every joint.
